Where is the event?
The event is taking place in the Larne Market Yard, BT40 3AB.
When is the event?
20th and 21st February 2027.
Is this event suitable for me?
If you love romance books – yes. The event is designed for readers of all romance subgenres.
Are there any volunteer opportunities available?
Yes, we welcome volunteers to help with various aspects of the festival. If you’re interested, please send us a message via email.
Do I need to bring books?
Many authors will have books available to purchase at their tables. You are also welcome to bring your own books to be signed.
Will I be able to meet all the authors?
You will have access to all authors attending, however signing times may vary and queues may be in place.
What payment methods will be available?
Most authors will accept card payments. Some may also accept cash. Please bring an alternative method of payment just in case.
Is seating available?
Seating may be limited and will be allocated where possible. Please plan to stand and move throughout the event.
Can I take photos?
Yes, photos are encouraged! Please be respectful of other attendees and ask before taking close-up photos of individuals.
Is there parking?
Yes, there are roughly thirty five onsite parking spaces and several nearby public car parks within walkable distance to the venue.
Will WiFi be available?
WiFi availability will be confirmed with the venue.
Can I bring my children to the event?
This event is designed as an adult-focused space for readers and authors; we are unable to accommodate children or young attendees. We kindly ask that guests make alternative arrangements, as this helps us maintain the intended atmosphere and ensure the comfort of all participants. While this is an adults-only event, infants and breastfeeding babies are welcome to attend.
What Safety Measures are in place for attendees?
The safety and comfort of all attendees is a priority at the Romance Literary Festival. The venue is fully compliant with local health and safety regulations, including fire safety procedures and accessible facilities. Clear signage and staff will be available throughout the event to assist with any queries or concerns. We also aim to maintain a respectful, inclusive environment where all attendees feel welcome and supported. If you have any specific accessibility or safety requirements, please don’t hesitate to get in touch ahead of the event so we can accommodate you where possible.
To ensure the safety of all attendees, this will be a nut-free event. We ask everyone to be mindful and avoid bringing any items containing nuts.
What is your AI policy?
The Romance Literary Festival does not permit the use of generative AI-created books, covers, or artwork in relation to participating author materials, merchandise, or publications.
We are committed to supporting human creativity and the work of authors, artists, and publishing professionals within the romance community.
Participation Policy
All books, covers, artwork, merchandise, banners, and promotional materials displayed or sold at the Romance Literary Festival must comply with the festival’s AI policy. Authors remain responsible for ensuring materials brought to the event meet these requirements.
